A new change in the federal roadway signage laws is coming. Whether or not you have noticed, it has been a standard sight for over ten years. I’m talking about our road signs in Texas.
For years, a font known as Clearview has been the standard for all road signs. Primarily in use for the giant signs you read on highways. So why are we changing back to the font used before?
On Monday became a federal decision that will force Texas to start using the old font. This doesn’t mean that all the signs will be replaced now, but it does mean that the new ones will be different in the future. You can read more in this article from The Texas Tribune.
